Why Donate Money to the Norwegian Ancestry project? PDF Print E-mail
Written by Liv Marit Haakenstad | Monday, 15 August 2011 19:13
  • Currently, there is no good manual on Norwegian Ancestry research in the English language.
  • A significant percentage of North-Americans are of Norwegian descent. Are you among them?
  • The Norwegian Digital Archives, and other sites, have most of the important Norwegian genealogy records available free online.  Even though the web-pages have some headings in English, but there is as yet no proper guide on how to use the records in English.  Many people researching their Norwegian ancestors are therefore not able to make full use of these fantastic free resources.
  • This book will be of interest to anyone with Norwegian ancestory.
  • The book will also be useful to anyone who’d like to find out more about immigration from Europe in the 1800s and early 1900s.
  • Your donation would help make this book available to the American public now!

I very much appreciate all your support and encouragement during my work on this project. Thank you!
