Liv Marit Haakenstad, AG® is a teacher, genealogist and an author. She has worked as a genealogist for many years, researching Norwegians and emigrants from Norway to other countries, specially US. Haakenstad is an Accredited Genealogist® (AG®) from the International Commission for the Accreditation of Professional Genealogists (ICAPGen). She has done a lot of research in England and US about the Emigration, trying to find answers about what happened to the Emigrants. She also offering lectures and courses in Norwegian Genealogy, Internet genealogy research, Transmigration (Norway-England-US) and the Emigration from Norway in general.
